Life = Pain

Hi there!!! This post is about how pain, consequences, risks and taking a leap of faith from time to time can and WILL impact your life.
As always be advised, that strong language is used
All the points described below are mostly my own experience
It sucks
No matter if it is an injury, a heart break, disease or even a bad grade everybody has bad days in their life and I won't be just another one that says "You are strong and will get over it". Ever asked somebody how to get over the death of a loved one? You don't. That empty space can fill nobody.
It sucks when you break up with your girlfriend
Or worse..... she cheats on you
Or even worse..... with your uncle (fuck that bitch, I hope Hulk smashes her face in)
It sucks when you fail in school
It sucks when you break a bone
Those situations all feel like your world is crumbling and you ask yourself if you are such a piece of garbage to deserve it.
Let me tell you, that you are, IF YOU BELIEVE SO.
Especially when you go through these things the first time, it literally feels like the end of your world. Once you get through this situation the first time (I broke 4 bones, split my left Quadriceps through the middle and cut my finger to the bone with a combat knife up until now) it gets easier.
In fact you toughen through every injury and difficult situation you get through.
What if
Best example: the first time I broke my arm I was about 10, I couldn't stop crying not because of the pain, but the sole thought of WHAT IF now the bone doesn't grow together as it is supposed to, or WHAT IF it comes to some complications and they need to re-brake my arm??? Doctor told me all about it in detail.
Those are all very realistic scenarios, but mostly it is the fear of a consequence and not the pain itself that hinders and shocks us.
The last time I've broken my foot, I even continue to play soccer and even do a workout afterwards, not because I love playing soccer (never liked it), but only because I am pissed off enough to ignore the pain in my foot while standing and defending the goal.
I know it sounds unbelievable when even my friend who has witnessed all of it, couldn't believe it when I have met him the following day on crutches, but I am spilling facts here.
(You should read Can't hurt me by David Goggins)
At 11 p.m. I recognize that my foot is swelling up really bad and that is the moment when I call an ambulance. Still don't give a fuck about the consequences of my actions.
The WHAT IF's I am really struggling with are....... WHAT IF everything I do is just totally obsolete. WHAT IF I have to return to a blunt live, with a 9-5 I absolutely hate, where all my live I chase a dream that is never becoming a reality.
WHAT IF I grow old alone and end up unhappy with a wasted life
What is the alternative?
Fear of consequences
Each and every single action in your life has consequences....good and bad.
So what are the consequneces, If you decide to go to the gym and do a workout?
Good:
You do something good for your body and your health
You form a habit of working out
You get to meet some pals there
Bad:
You risk injury
You miss time with your family
You could be earning more money instead
What about business opportunities?
Good:
You can decide when, where and how long you will be working
MONEY
You could be doing what you absolutely enjoy
Bad:
You could eventually lose all your money and even go bankrupt
First couple of years ususally you don't see even a dime of profits
Most of your time will be occupied only with work
One beatuiful thing there is alternative:
You stay in your 9-5 and let your ambition die out
Is that you?
What's the alternative?
What if you never choose a consequence or you never decide your sacrifice?
Well you just flow through life and actually just live a normal life where you find a safe secure job, you raise a family, only that is not what "no consequences" mean.
No consequences means that you never take a risk and never talk to the cute girl, you never apply for the job, you never take a loan to buy a house.
The consequence of "no consequence" is in extreme cases literally DEATH.
So what is your alternative?
- Either you deal with consequences or you die from starvation, because you are homeless, have no money and don't want to deal with the consequences of eating a half eaten sandwich to prevent starving to death
Now that sounds just nice right?
Just a little bigger
Now imagine you learn to deal with consequences, and I know it is not always easy, first you take the leap of faith and apply for a job.
Great, they don't hire you!!! (Consequences)
But the next one does
Congrats!!
So now you have money and can afford some things in your life
But you want more......
Ok, now you take the leap of faith again and start your own business (Let's say you start drop shipping)
AWESOME, you have your first sale now and that is it.....
Nothing else goes and you lose all your money due to overinvesting into your first business (Consequences)
Shit happens, but you take a leap of faith again and ask your one customer why they have bought your product. She says, that she got interested because the picture you have taken is actually a very good one and the only problem is your exposure. (Consequence)
Ok now you take a leap of faith (TLF) again and buy a better camera and start learning about shooting photos. Your Instagram gains more and more followers. (Consequences)
But you still are not satisfied, because you know there is still more to life than a couple thousand followers on instagram and good pictures that don't sell
You take a leap of faith again and send a message to other influencers about shooting photos for them and from 253 influencers you get 24 responses which all say "yeah sorry, no need for that right now, but I'll get to you later" (Consequences)
You feel like giving up and talk to your one customer again and connect with her on instagram and TLF again by asking her to meet you because you want to discuss some things and need her advice.
She hesitates, but agrees.
Now you see her in real life and she is GORGEOUS. After talking to her for hours regarding business you ask her out only to learn that she is married and only agreed to come because she is a nice person. Her husband is in the bar next door and is waiting for her.
Fast forward 3 years after TLF-ing and then dealing with the consequences constantly....
You are married with the waitress that has served your coffee that day you have met your customer.
Through your customer's insight you learn how to improve some aspects of your Instagram account and now your account has several 100k followers.
Your dropshipping still is not profitable but your photos are being recognised by some big Influencers and now you have to give them the "have to plan ahead, schedule is tight" excuse.
You dealt with the consequences and are not yet where you want to be, but you are very much on the best possible way getting there.
After you dealt with small consequences you learned how to deal with a little bigger ones and then even bigger ones. Little by little you get ahead.
It is NOT easy
Not every consequence has the same impact on your life. Some have a bigger impact than others. Deciding which consequence is worth risking money, time and sweat over is the biggest struggle for most of us.
Sometimes those consequences you choose to deal with, end up burning up in your face like you can read in this story about how some dreams are just not meant to be.
It is absolutely not easy dealing with the consequences of my failures, but honestly what I can say about that is, I ABSOLUTELY DON'T REGRET GOING FOR IT!!!
If I haven't taken the leap of faith, I wouldn't be sitting in a country I love living in and I would still be thinking about how life could be instead what it is now.
Remember that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take!!!
Thank you so much for reading to the end!
